Endowment and Grant Portfolio
Over the past decade, CIFF’s endowment has grown to a value of $6 billion, after charitable 投資英文 activities and costs. With this strong financial base, we have built a growing portfolio of charitable grants with a value of over 投資英文 $2.1 billion. In the 2020 financial year, grant disbursements totalled $344 million. CIFF’s Nairobi office has been operational since 2009, and in 2019 we opened our office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (officially signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ethiopian Government in 2018), increasing the level of localisation.
Since the opening of CIFF’s office in Delhi in 2007, CIFF’s investments and partnerships in India continue to 投資英文 expand in number and scope. CIFF’s work in Rajasthan remains central 投資英文 投資英文 to our India programme, where CIFF has had a.
Building on several years of engagement with Chinese partners on climate programming, CIFF opened an office in Beijing in 2019. CIFF’s work in 投資英文 China focuses exclusively on climate, and the Chinese Government’s increased 投資英文 focus.
Europe is home to a significant number of CIFF’s climate investments. Across the region, CIFF-supported climate programmes are implemented under a variety of strategies, including cross-cutting targeted communications, air quality.
